That's it! You know how business apps work, at least the core of them. Since you actually wrote programs, you should have a fairly deep understanding of the basics.
If you want to check your understanding, try explaining everything to your dog. As you explain, you're reviewing your knowledge.
What now?
- Learn about object-oriented programming. PHP can do that, as can most other languages.
- Learn JavaScript, and jQuery. JS code can run in browser, that is, on the client. It's great for early validation, special effects, improved widgets, and other things. jQuery makes this work easier. Easy is good.
- PHP can work with maps, apply effects to images, draw charts, send email, send tweets... you name it. If there's something you'd like to try, give it the old Google. There's probably a code library for it.
- If you want to go farther afield, learn Unity, a platform for making games. It's not PHP, using C# instead. But it's way cool.
